City planner says highways are driving people out of cities

A winning sports team won’t save a city in decline. But a couple good bars or restaurants might. The Art District in Downtown Canton, East 4th street in Cleveland, and the Canal Park strip in downtown Akron could be creating the street life that fans a new flame in each city. A nationally known city planner says cities can grow new life when they entice people out of their cars.
