The BOX: Artists of Rubber City Gallery

Artists of Rubber City (AoRC), is a visual arts nonprofit organization with the mission to advocate for local artists and local art.

Artists of Rubber City at the BOX galleryArtists of Rubber City promotes the appreciation and ownership of art created by local artists as one facet of the rich culture to be found in Akron and Northeast Ohio. Its membership includes painters, photographers, printmakers, fiber artists, potters, media artists, graphic artists, sculptors, jewelers, and some who aren’t artists at all; they just love and support the visual arts. This rich mixture of talent and interests keeps AoRC lively and interesting.

 

the BOX gallery is located on the 3rd floor of Summit Artspace at 140 E. Market Street. Normal hours of operation are Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:30. It is also open for special events such as the monthly Akron Artwalk and the Sunday Sampler.

 

Membership opportunities are available with the Artists of Rubber City. It is more than just a club and members are more than just artists. Artists of Rubber City offers a number of events and opportunities for our members to display their talents and socialize.
