Summit County Bike Trails
The Ohio Bicycle and Pedestrian Program supports ODOT in the promotion and facilitation of the increased use of active non-motorized transportation. Summit County Bike Trails are included in this program.
There are many great ways to enjoy Summit County while getting healthy exercise. Riding your bike on one of our fabulous trails is a fun way to take in all that Akron and Summit County have to offer.
Since 1992, the Ohio Department of Transportation has invested $98 million to improve and modernize pedestrian and bicycle routes across the state. Today, Ohio has more than 3,000 miles of designated bike paths used by an estimated 4 million bicycle owners. Check out this map of the Northeast Ohio and Summit County bike trails.
