The hotel springs from a converted silo complex that once held more than 1.5 million grain bushels. In recognition of our significant Akron, Ohio hotel and silo complex, the Quaker Square Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Quaker Square Inn at The University of Akron is a great place for relaxing, entertaining, hosting conferences, meetings and special events. It is perfectly located in the downtown Akron business district and near some of Ohio�s most scenic attractions. With 65 guest rooms, 16 meeting, banquet and exhibit rooms, 60,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and 17,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, the Quaker Square Inn can accommodate groups from as small as 8 to as large as 2,000.
