Ice Skating at Lock 3
The largest seasonal outdoor ice rink is open to all at Lock 3 park during prime winter months.
Lock 3 presents a fun, family environment for ice skating, gift buying and entertainment. During winter festivities in December and January, the City of Akron invites the public to Lock 3 park for free ice skating. Skates are available for rental. Concessions are available for purchase. There are indoor areas for families to warm up with hot cocoa and snacks before hitting the ice again and again.
