The Cellar Door Store is a charming gift shop that features an unusual array of Victorian and unique gifts. It's a good place to look for that special Christmas gift for the hard to buy for person!
The Cellar Door Store is a truly unique shopping destination, boasting the largest selection of Victorian reproduction ornaments in the Akron area. The Cellar Door is open during tour times or by appointment. (Tour times are Wednesday - Saturday, noon until 3:30 pm.) It's also open by "chance" or by appointment. You do not have to tour the House to shop at The Cellar Door. The Store can be opened for your event or tour by prior request. Call (330) 972-6909.
The Antique consignment room in the Cellar Door Store is also now open for business. To date, The Cellar Door Store has received some very collectable items including Whiting & Davis hand bags, Trifari jewelry, China painted dishes, oil paintings, Silverplate and sterling pieces, linens, hummel figurines etc. Anyone interested in consigning items should contact Hower House for additional information.
